Unusually warm weather today as in previous days with a warm air mass over the region.

At night a strong cold front moves across the region ending the warm dry spell.

The cold front will likely be accompanied by thunderstorms with 1000 J/kg CAPE ahead of the front in the evening predicted by the ECMWF model.With very strong winds aloft(120+ km/h at 850 hPa level),destructive winds are possible with thunderstorms,even the chance of tornadoes and waterspouts with high vertical wind shear.Wind gusts in excess of 100 km/h possible at night.

On Friday deep cold air mass lies over the region with 500 hPa temps down to -24 Degrees Celsius,leading to the possibility of small hail and thunderstorms most likely in the south.

On Saturday remnant post cold frontal showers easing.

On Sunday another,but much weaker cold front brushes the region bringing showers again.

Improving conditions from Monday with a high pressure system strengthening to the southeast.
